In 2021, Penrhos College announced the launch of its inaugural AFL Football program, facilitated by the Perth Football Club.

As part of the exclusive and exciting partnership with the Perth Football Club, Penrhos IGSSA Football teams are coached by Perth Football Club players with AFL coaching accreditation.

the inception of the partnership, a number of students who participated in the Penrhos Football Program have been selected for the Perth Football Club Roger’s Cup Team (Under 17’s). The Perth Football Club is looking forward to continuing to develop the footballing pathway for young women at Penrhos College.
